How to make your perfume last Longer with a DIY solid perfume

It can be frustrating when our perfume fades away after just a few hours of applying. There's a simple solution to this problem: making your solid perfume using a small petroleum jelly container.

Not everyone has access to Arab solid perfume. It may not be easily available in your local stores, or perhaps you're looking for a more budget-friendly alternative. That's where the petroleum jelly or any moisturizer cream comes in handy.

To create your own solid perfume, you'll need:

  • A small petroleum jelly container
  • Your favorite perfume sprays
  • Optional: essential oils like lavender or vanilla

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Melt the petroleum jelly: Place the small container of petroleum jelly in hot water for a few minutes until it melts.
  2. Add perfume: Spray your favorite perfume into the melted petroleum jelly and mix well.
  3. Cool and solidify: Pour the mixture into the container and refrigerate until it solidifies.

Once the mixture has solidified, you can apply it behind your ears or on your wrists, just like you would with any other perfume. The solid perfume will melt upon contact with your skin, releasing the fragrance slowly throughout the day. This will ensure that your perfume lasts longer, and you won't have to constantly reapply it.

You can use this trick with unscented moisturizing cream or lotion as well, also instead of adding perfume, mix in a few drops of essential oils of your choice. Lavender and vanilla are some popular options that not only smell great but also have aromatherapy benefits.
