Morning meditation practice to start your day positively

The way that we start our morning impacts how we feel throughout the day, that's why it's essential that we begin our day with a simple yet very powerful affirmation/meditation routine.


I started today by doing "5 min Morning Affirmation Meditation - Positive Thoughts" by Yoga with Kassandra. It doesn't take much time, you can follow the video while seated or lying on your bed. 


Affirmations are positive phrases that you say in order to bring good thoughts into your mind to lower stress and anxiety, fight negativity and create an optimistic mindset. 


Kassandra said the affirmations in a beautiful and calming method that prepared me to face the day in a better way.


My favorite affirmation in this quick meditation video was "My self-esteem is growing day by day" since I struggle sometimes with low self-esteem and I found myself smiling when I repeated it after Kassandra.


I also loved "I allow all parts of me to be expressed" because we live in a world where you can always find someone who tries to silence you and restrain your self-expression.
